Our Story
Hemlock & Key is Richmond, Virginia’s premier purveyor of loose-leaf teas, offering over 40 varieties of loose leaf teas including black, oolong, green, white, and much more. For centuries, tea has been a staple in the diets of many cultures, serving as a ceremonial offering, a cure for what ails us, and a way to exorcise the stress from our souls. We hope to carry on the tradition of offering high quality teas at affordable prices, all in an effort to make this once exclusive luxury accessible to anyone who wishes to partake.
As of writing, while we do not currently have a brick and mortar storefront, our online store offers drop-off and pick-up options for the city of Richmond, as well as USPS shipping to all 50 states. Upon finding a suitable location for our physical storefront, we hope to offer all of our teas by the cup, in addition to by the ounce. When that day arrives, we invite one and all to come and indulge.
